Once the most suitable lubricant for an application has been determined, it is important to apply the right amount in the right place. It should be easy and efficient and not risk being forgotten, as this can have major consequences in terms of breakdowns and downtime. Therefore, automated systems are often used nowadays.
In many places, access is difficult, or impossible without interrupting ongoing operations. In such cases, lubrication systems are both more efficient and better from an occupational health and safety perspective.
ROVAB markets several types of lubrication systems for customers in various industries and areas of operation.
Rail lubrication systems
Our largest product group today consists of automated lubrication devices for applying grease to railway tracks.
On-board lubrication systems
As a complement to rail lubrication systems, we work with so-called wheel flange lubrication. Here, grease is applied to the locomotive's wheel flanges using a system mounted on board.
Single-point and multi-point lubrication systems
In addition to specialized systems for railways, ROVAB offers flexible multi-point and single-point lubrication systems with a multitude of applications. For example, rollers, shafts, gear rings, conveyors, and motors in industry. Additionally, in particularly hard-to-reach places such as wind turbines, cranes, lifts, etc., as well as mobile applications on construction machinery.
The simple design with spring-loading and battery power is very reliable. It also allows the system to be placed where it is best suited,
