<strong>APPLICATIONS:</strong><br>Matrix® EP performs perfectly in operations where water, dust, heat, acids or alkalis are present. Matrix® EP should be considered in all situations where bearings fail due to high load, contamination or heat.<br><br>Recommended for use in phosphate processes, steel/rolling mills, cement factories, plastic extrusion, textile industry, paper/pulp industry, mining industry and agricultural/construction machinery.<br><br>Matrix® EP often outperforms significantly more expensive greases in, for example, bearings in tension frames, screw conveyors, extruders, oven tracks and fans. It is also very useful for all vehicle applications, including wheel bearings, chassis and universal joints.<br><br><em>A continuous temperature of 200°C is within the safe range. The grease can withstand 288°C continuously, provided that the bearing is refilled every 30 minutes with normal amounts of grease. Occasional temperature spikes up to 315°C can be maintained for 5 to 10 minute periods without the grease melting or carbonizing. The thickener system has a protective effect similar to molybdenum disulfide and protects equipment from wear under severe conditions with extreme load.</em>
<br><em><strong>Matrix® EP 2 is manufactured to NLGI 1.5</strong> for use over a wide range of bearing speeds up to DN 200,000. </em>
