Top Of Rail - TOR Armor®

Under normal circumstances, TOR Armor ® acts as a lubricant. However, during wheel creep, sliding friction is directly converted into positive friction, bringing the creep under control and returning the wheels to stable rolling. The result is a significant reduction in vibrations, flaking, and high-frequency wheel squeal.<br><br><strong>TOR Armor ®</strong> contains no latex, solvents, or harmful materials. It dries quickly between the rails and wheels thanks to friction heat, but it does not harden in the lubricant reservoir, pump, or at the application ports. It is non-corrosive and does not wear down metal equipment or components.<br><br><strong>The pick-up and spread distance</strong> is dependent on external factors such as curvature, braking, and gradient, but 700m is achievable in most cases. In individual cases, reductions in lateral stresses of up to 1 km have been measured.<br><br><strong>The long</strong> spread distance often results in a reduction in the number of lubrication systems needed.<br><br><strong>TOR Armor ®</strong> does not affect the vehicle's braking or traction capability.<br><br>Measurements on instrumented tracks have shown a reduction in lateral forces of over 50% (compared to unlubricated tracks) even for the first train passing after application.<br><br> <br><br><em>Shelf life is at least 24 months in sealed containers between -18°C to 37°C degrees</em><span style="color: #999999;"> </span><br><br>
