On January 1, 2025, the new requirements in Annex VIII of the CLP Regulation will come into force. This means that UFI codes must now be included on all products containing mixtures classified as hazardous regarding health hazards or physical hazards. The background to this is the harmonization of regulations within the EU/EEA and to facilitate, for example, the Poison Information Centre in Sweden, to access information about product contents in emergencies to provide medical advice.
During the autumn, ROVAB has been working to ensure that the products in our range affected by this regulation meet the new requirements and are marked with a UFI code.
You can read more about UFI codes and the new requirements on the Swedish Chemicals Agency's website. Submit information for poison control - Swedish Chemicals Agency
